Selection Criteria and Process

Selection of applicants for the M.S. in Biomedical Research program is competitive. Applicants are reviewed by a Graduate Admissions Committee; who considers several factors, including undergraduate and graduate academic performance, with a strong emphasis on science courses. Letters of reference play a significant role in assessing an applicant's readiness for graduate study. While prior research experience is recommended, it is not mandatory.   In addition, letters of reference and any work/volunteer/shadow experiences are also considered in reviewing applicant's preparedness for graduate study. Prior research experience is recommended, but is not required. Selected applicants are invited for interviews which are required for admission.

Application Deadline: Completed MSBR applications for the Fall admissions cycle, including a $50 non-refundable application processing fee, are due by April 15.
